If you are a crafter, build a blog about your craft. For example, I started online with a website on card making as that is my hobby and passion. I share my handmade cards with my readers and provide step by step tutorial on how to make each card. I enjoy doing that very much and as crafters, we love to show our creations to other crafters. When I first started building my site on cardmaking, I wasn’t thinking about building my MLM downline. But after some time when my readers began to know me better, they are also interested in other aspects of my life beside my craft. They also want to know how to sell their craft to fund their hobby or to help pay for other expenditures. Many of them are interested to know how they can work online and most are looking for a work at home business opportunity. So by having a craft blog, you are building a network of crafters who enjoy your blog contents. You are are also building relationship with your readers. Put an About Me page on your blog telling readers about yourself; your hobby, your life and your business.
2. Build A List – No, I did not make a mistake here. Let me repeat. Build a List!  Many crafters already have a web presence but they are not building a mailing list. I have seen craft blogs with great content. They are spending lots of time, and effort on their blogs. They have lots of people visiting and reading their blogs from all over the world. But there is no sign up form for readers to submit their email address to stay connected – like signing up for a newsletter, a free report or other tips and updates. Readers who subscribed to your mailing list are people who want to hear from you and stay in the loop with you.
3. Automate Your Mailing To Your List – Use an auto-responder to automate your emails to your list of subscribers. The moment  a reader subscribed to your list, they will receive a link to your free report immediately and will begin receiving your emails regularly. You won’t want to do all these manually. You want to automate this task to free up time for other activities like writing more great quality content for your blog. To automate this, you can use an auto-responder like Aweber which is what I’m using for this blog.
